The service

Moonshot Travel ("we", "us") is a flight booking and price monitoring service operated by MSOS AI. We search for flights, book them on your behalf, monitor prices after booking, and rebook when a lower fare is available — saving you money.

By using Moonshot Travel, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Accounts

You need an account to book flights and use price monitoring. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the service.

Bookings and payments

When you book a flight through Moonshot Travel, you're purchasing from the airline via our booking partner Duffel. We act as an intermediary — the contract of carriage is between you and the airline.

• Prices shown are real-time quotes and may change before booking is confirmed
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details
• Booking fees are disclosed before purchase
• Refunds and cancellations are subject to the airline's policy, not ours

Price monitoring and rebooking

After you book, we monitor the price of your flight. If we find a significantly lower fare, we'll notify you. Rebooking happens only with your explicit confirmation.

• We check prices approximately every 15 minutes
• We only notify you when net savings exceed $30 (after any change fees)
• Savings are split: you keep 50%, Moonshot keeps 50% (free tier)
• We cannot guarantee that a lower fare will be available, or that rebooking will succeed
• Airline change policies, seat availability, and fare class restrictions may prevent rebooking

AI assistant

Mission Control is an AI-powered assistant that helps you search for flights and plan trips. It uses Anthropic's Claude to generate responses.

• AI responses are informational, not financial or legal advice
• Price estimates and predictions are based on historical data and may not be accurate
• The assistant cannot make bookings without your explicit confirmation

What we don't guarantee

Travel is unpredictable. We provide the service "as is" and cannot guarantee:

• That prices will drop on any given booking
• That rebooking will always be possible or successful
• Specific savings amounts (historical data is directional, not predictive)
• Uninterrupted service availability
• That flight information is always current (airlines change schedules)

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate passenger information for bookings
• Review booking details before confirming
• Maintain valid travel documents (passport, visa) — we don't verify these
• Don't use the service for fraudulent bookings or abuse airline policies
• Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems

Subscription and pricing

Moonshot Travel offers a free tier and a paid subscription. The free tier includes flight search, booking, and basic price monitoring. Paid features are described on our pricing page. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the past 12 months. We are not liable for airline cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, lost baggage, or any other issues between you and the airline. We are not liable for missed savings opportunities or failed rebook attempts.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of JAMS, except where prohibited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
