How this works

The service

Moonshot Travel ("we", "us"), available at msos.ai, is a hotel booking and price monitoring service operated by Moonshot OS, Inc., a Delaware corporation. We book hotels through LiteAPI and Hotelbeds (HBX Group). After you book, we watch the price of your reservation and — with your explicit permission — rebook you when we find a meaningfully lower price. You can also ask us to watch the price of a flight or hotel you booked somewhere else; for those we tell you when the price drops, and you rebook it yourself.

We do not sell, book, or arrange flights or other transportation.

By using Moonshot Travel, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Accounts

Accounts are managed through Clerk. You sign in with your phone number or work email — that's your primary identifier. We collect your email address at booking time because the hotel needs it to fulfill your reservation; we share it with the supplier for that purpose.

• You're responsible for keeping access to your phone number or email and account secure
• One account per person
• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the service

Booking hotels

Hotel stays are booked through LiteAPI and Hotelbeds (HBX Group). The stay itself is a contract between you and the hotel; we arrange it on your behalf.

• Each rate carries its own cancellation policy, shown before you book
• Non-refundable rates are final once booked — you confirm this explicitly at checkout
• The hotel's policy, not ours, governs cancellations and no-shows

Watching flights and hotels you booked elsewhere

You can give us a confirmation for a flight or hotel you booked with another company and ask us to watch its price. We did not make that booking, so we cannot change, rebook, or cancel it. If we see a lower price, we tell you and show you how to rebook it yourself with the company you booked with.

• Watching is informational. Whether you can rebook, and at what cost, depends on the fare or rate rules of your original booking
• We do not charge for watching bookings made elsewhere and take no share of savings you capture yourself
• Fare checks for watched flights use route and date information only

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Charges appear on your statement as "MOONSHOT TRAVEL". Any fees we charge are disclosed before purchase.

Price watching and rebooking

After you book a hotel through Moonshot, we monitor its price. If we find a meaningful drop, we ask you first — always. Rebooking happens only with your explicit, one-tap confirmation. We never rebook automatically.

• When you confirm, we make the new booking first, and only cancel the old one after the new one is confirmed — you're never left without a reservation
• Savings are split: on the free plan you keep 50% and we keep 50%; on Pro you keep 90% and we keep 10%
• We only take a share of savings we actually deliver — if prices never drop, watching costs you nothing
• We cannot guarantee that a lower price will appear, or that a rebook will succeed — availability, rate rules, and supplier policies can prevent it

Referral travel credit

When you share your personal referral link, you can earn Moonshot Travel Credit after the person you referred activates Moonshot and Moonshot receives eligible revenue from serving them.

• Credit equals 20% of eligible revenue Moonshot actually receives from the referred traveler during the 12 months after activation
• The first 500 activated referrals can generate up to $500 in credit per referred traveler; later referrals can generate up to $250 per referred traveler
• Credit starts as pending and normally becomes available after a 14-day clearance period
• Available credit may be applied to eligible hotel bookings made through Moonshot; it has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred
• Cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate accounts, or reversed Moonshot revenue can reduce or reverse pending credit
• Moonshot may pause or end this beta program prospectively, but will honor valid available credit already posted to your account

Pro subscription

Moonshot Pro costs $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Pro members keep 90% of rebooking savings (versus 50% on the free plan).

• 7-day money-back guarantee: if you're not happy with Pro, tell us within 7 days of your first purchase and we'll refund your subscription fee in full
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime and Pro stays active through the end of the paid period
• We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for

Corporate features

Organizations can use Moonshot to manage team travel. If you join an organization, its admins can see your travel spend, trips, expenses, and revenue matched from the organization's CRM. Organizations may connect their CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot, via Nango) and calendars (via Google) to power these features.

If you don't want an organization's admins to see your travel activity, don't join it — or leave it from Settings.

Flight disruption monitoring

We monitor booked flights for delays, cancellations, and schedule changes using FlightAware AeroAPI. This is informational — the airline's own communications are authoritative, and we can't guarantee we'll catch every disruption or catch it first.

AI assistant

Percy, our AI purser, is an AI-powered assistant that helps you search, plan, and manage trips. Your conversations with it are processed by AI providers to generate responses.

• AI responses are informational, not financial or legal advice
• Price estimates and predictions are directional, not guarantees
• The assistant cannot book, rebook, or cancel anything without your explicit confirmation
• You can view and delete the preferences it has learned about you at msos.ai/memory

Texts from Percy

If you turn on texts at msos.ai, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Moonshot Travel at the number you verify, only for categories you separately choose: informational trip updates (including requested Percy replies, cancellation deadlines, flight status and arrival reminders) and marketing price-drop or savings alerts for trips you are watching. Both choices are optional and initially unchecked. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.Reply STOP to stop all texts and HELP for help, or email support@msos.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You can change either category or turn all texts off at any time at msos.ai/texts. START resumes only categories you previously selected; it does not add new permissions. Phone verification is separate from your choices. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile number.

WhatsApp from Percy

WhatsApp is a separate, optional Percy channel. Turning on SMS does not turn on WhatsApp. To connect it, you choose the WhatsApp categories you want at msos.ai and then send START PERCY from that WhatsApp account. You may choose informational trip messages and requested Percy replies, savings alerts, or both. Message frequency varies and carrier data charges may apply. Reply STOP in WhatsApp to disconnect that channel.

Percy can search and explain by WhatsApp, but cannot book, cancel, rebook, or charge anything there. Any action involving money or an existing reservation requires your confirmation in Moonshot. Twilio and Meta process WhatsApp messages to deliver this service.

What we don't guarantee

Travel is unpredictable. We provide the service "as is" and cannot guarantee:

• That prices will drop on any given booking, or by any particular amount
• That rebooking will always be possible or successful
• Uninterrupted service availability
• That flight or hotel information is always current — airlines and hotels change things
• That disruption alerts will always arrive, or arrive before the airline's own notice

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate traveler and guest information for bookings
• Review booking details, fare rules, and cancellation policies before confirming
• Maintain valid travel documents (passport, visa) — we don't verify these
• Don't use the service for fraudulent bookings or to abuse airline or hotel policies
• Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@msos.ai. Deleting your account does not cancel existing reservations — they remain valid with the airline or hotel. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the past 12 months. We are not liable for airline cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, lost baggage, hotel overbookings or service failures, or any other issue between you and the airline or hotel. We are not liable for missed savings opportunities or failed rebook attempts.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of JAMS, except where prohibited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
